The 11.05pm BBC One junction.
[00:00:00] PROGRAMME GRAPHIC: standard BBC One slide for the film Chicago, Chicago. Airing next Monday at 9.25pm on BBC One. Starring Beau Bridges, as a young man who leaves his small home town to seek his fortune in Chicago.
[00:00:17] PROGRAMME GRAPHIC: a cross-channel promotion graphic. In this case, pointing to two upcoming programmes over on BBC Two: the News on 2 and The Men Who Made the Movies.
This style of cross-channel promotion graphic remained in use until the end of the decade.
Note the design of the ‘2’ in the BBC Two logo here – which is an early version of the ‘2’ that would feature as the channel’s ident from June 1979 until March 1986.
Apologies but unfortunately we only have a portion of this junction.
