This Day in History: 1981-06-02
The first edition of Razzmatazz airs on ITV. A music-based children’s programme.
The programme would run for nine series, between 2nd June 1981 and 2nd January 1987. It was produced by Tyne Tees Television and initially featured presenters Alastair Pirrie and Lyn Spencer.
Later presenters included Brendan Healy, Suzanne Dando and singer Lisa Stansfield, who joined the show when she was 16.
