[00:00:00] IN-VISION CONTINUITY: CBBC had to decamp to BBC Two from its usual home on BBC One, due to rolling news coverage in the wake of Margaret Thatcher’s resignation.
Andi introduces a short CBBC behind-the-scenes segment.
[00:00:10] PROGRAMME: Andi starts off in the CBBC office.
He moves next door to introduce us to his producer – but we don’t get to see her face. She hands Andi a ‘Con Sheet’ – which lists the running order for CBBC that afternoon – showing the programme start/finish times and the bits where Andi links the programmes together.
Andi heads down to make-up. We then see him walking through Network One Control (NC1). As he walks by, we catch a glimpse of the monitor stack, where the BBC One COW symbol and clock can be seen.
He then heads into NC1 Con (the Broom Cupboard), where he gives us a quick look at the monitor stack and briefly explains some of the things he can do on the desk.
[00:02:23] IN-VISION CONTINUITY: back live to Andi in the BBC Two Broom Cupboard. He mentions that the segment was filmed a couple of weeks ago, and thanks his producer for her assistance making it.
Andi then links into Maid Marian and Her Merry Men.
