ITV Digital created a special test card, which was broadcast during downtime on some ITV channels.

[00:00:00] TEST CARD: the distant relation of Test Card F starred Al (played by Johnny Vegas) and Monkey, from the ITV Digital ads.
“I remember the test card from when I was a kid. The girls eyes used to follow you around the room and I tried to make mine do the same, but just ended up hurting myself,” said Johnny Vegas.
“People can’t get enough of Al and Monkey,” an ITV Digital spokesman explained, “so we thought we would bring back this classic test card to brighten things up when some of our channels go off air. For the record Monkey won the game of noughts and crosses.”
