[00:00:00] PRODUCTION ENDBOARD: a`TSW Outside Broadcast endboard, dated 1982. We believe this related to the programme Messengers to Earth, a musical fantasy recorded at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Crediton.
[00:00:03] IN-VISION CONTINUITY: Annie St John provides a link into Christmas Morning Worship, from a rather festive Tyne Tees in-vision set.
Gareth Joy tells us that for a few years in the 1980s, the presentation department utilised Studio 3 at City Road (usually occupied by News) to build a festive in-vision set. Studio 4 would have been too small to accommodate these larger sets.
[00:00:15] PRE-PROGRAMME IDENT: this is a rare outing for the Ulster Television pre-programme ident on network ITV. Used here for Christmas Morning Worship.
[00:00:21] PROGRAMME: the opening seconds of Christmas Morning Worship which comes from St Molua’s Church, Belfast.
