[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: we start off with a weather summary graphic before transitioning to an in-programme sting. Frank Bough then appears in-vision (initially providing an incorrect time check, before immediately correcting himself) to bring us a recap of the main stories. A generic ‘News’ inset graphic is displayed to the right of Frank.
The 3D CGI graphics were produced by Tim Goodchild.

[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: Sally Magnusson leads the tributes to departing presenter Frank Bough.
A brief tribute VT is then played, featuring excerpts from the first edition of the programme in January 1983.
Other clips:
- An odd paper review with Nigel Planer in-character as Neil from The Young Ones.
- Lenny Henry disrupts Francis Wilson’s weather forecast.
- The obligatory encounter with Rod Hull and Emu.
We then return live to the current studio, where Frank is seen seated on one of the original programme sofas. Selina Scott arrives in studio.
