Channel 4’s first foray into breakfast television. The programme was produced by ITN in conjunction with various other production companies.

We then have a summary of the main news stories.

Bill Bingham then brings us a detailed UK weather forecast.

Bill then goes on to give us a quick update on the travel situation – and then lets us know what’s coming up this hour on the programme. He then introduces Countdown Masters. We then see the opening of that programme.
