We’re off to Los Barcos on the Costa Eldorado in Spain now, for the title sequence to the BBC’s short-lived soap following the lives of British and European expats.

[00:00:00] IDENT: in the days when the BBC promoted stereo sound on their channel idents.
Network BBC One usually performed a slow mix into these titles – much to the annoyance of the playout directors in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales no doubt, who in the those days, still depended on a dirty network feed – so they’d have to hold off joining the titles until the network symbol had fully disappeared (though it didn’t always work out that way).
[00:00:05] PROGRAMME: your basic computer-generated sun and sea title sequence, complete with memorable, bold programme title logo. The work of Alan Jeapes.
