The network announcer cut this announcement very fine, with the theme tune/titles for Terry and June coming in the instant he finished his introduction.
This would’ve been less than ideal for the playout operations in Belfast, Cardiff and Glasgow who provided their own continuity and had to work off a dirty network feed. In this example, they will undoubtedly have missed the opening second or so of the theme tune.
