That’s about as fast as that turntable got over the Christmas period. The heat generated by the studio lighting apparently affected the speed of the turntable.
There were three different lighting arrangements for this year’s ident, to reflect the time of day: daytime, dusk and night-time. In this example, we see the bright blue daytime lighting.
