In October 1994, Yorkshire TV dropped the identity designed by English Markell Pockett that had been running since September 1989. In its place, a series of colourful idents, with the chevron logo prominently on display.
The majority of the idents had daytime, evening and night-time versions. And notably, no ITV branding on the idents this time around.
