UTV continuity including programme promotion for North West 200 followed by Knight Rider opening/close (c. 1994)

[00:00:03] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for North West 200.

The programme airs on Wednesday at 10.40pm on UTV.

The trail features Richard Thorp (Alan Turner in Emmerdale).

[00:00:48] IDENT: an announcerless playout of the main UTV ident is used to link into Knight Rider.

[00:00:59] PROGRAMME: the teaser for this season three episode of Knight Rider – KITT vs KARR, followed by the opening titles.

We then cut to the in-programme slide, used at the start and end of commercial breaks.

And finally, the closing seconds of the final scene, followed by the closing credits.

Worth noting that we have a couple of continuity errors in the final scene:

• Viewers can just about make out the red buttons from the old season one and two version of KITT’s dashboard.
• The front bumper shown amongst the wreckage of KARR is black. However, in the second half of the episode, KARR took on a grey/black colour scheme, and a portion of the front bumper was grey.
