The programme airs tomorrow at 7pm on BBC One.

This was the soap’s first week on air.

[00:00:34] IDENT: the BBC One symbol is used to link into an episode of Steptoe and Son.

[00:00:44] PROGRAMME: the opening titles from an episode of Steptoe and Son (titled Come Dancing).

We also see a portion of the opening scene, before cutting to the final seconds of the final scene and the full closing credits.

This episode was shown as a tribute to Wilfrid Brambell, who died in January 1985.
