[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: Jimmy Perry signs off at the end of an edition of Turns.

We also see the programme’s full closing credits.

[00:00:57] PROGRAMME GRAPHIC: standard BBC One cross-channel promotion slide design – for Turns.

The announcer quickly mentions some other names featuring on next week’s programme.

It would’ve been much more common for this type of cross-channel promotion slide to appear on BBC Two in the evenings, to promote a programme on BBC One. This slide design was also unique to autumn 1984 and was derived from the autumn “new season” programme trail animation.

[00:01:02] IDENT: a very quick, generic announcement over the BBC One globe symbol, taking us into We Got It Made.
