[00:00:14] CLOCK: the announcer bids us goodnight over the BBC Two clock.
[00:00:31] IDENT: an announcerless playout (partial) of one of the standard BBC Two idents – Car.
Unfortunately, a playout error causes the initial seconds of the ident’s audio to be muted.
After the ident is faded out, we have about 25 seconds or so of black and silence before GLITS/test tone kicks in. This would typically run for 2 minutes – though our recording cuts off just as GLITS starts.
The overnight shutdown of the BBC Two transmitter network would then have been triggered.
