We missed the initial few seconds of the announcement over the clock.
[00:00:21] IDENT: an announcerless playout (partial) of the Silk BBC Two ident.
Just over 25 seconds after fading to black and silence, GLITS/test tone kicks in.
Our recording continues for another 50 seconds or so.
GLITS/test tone would normally run for about two minutes.
The overnight shutdown of the BBC Two transmitter network would then have been triggered.
