[00:00:00] IDENT: for 20th Century Fox Television.

[00:00:02] PRODUCTION ENDBOARD: the LWT production endboard ‘presentation’ variant, typically shown at the end of imported programmes.

[00:00:06] PROGRAMME: this short piece from the London Community Unit Information Service promotes the Talking Newspapers service for the visually and physically handicapped – and seeks volunteers to prepare and dispatch tapes.

[00:00:37] IDENT: a slide showing a night-time view of LWT’s building at the South Bank. Announcer Peter Lewis tells viewers that it will not be possible to air the planned edition of Close “due to problems completely outside our control”.

[00:00:51] GRAPHIC: Peter reads the weather forecast out-of-vision also. Looks like it’ll be a warm day – 22 celsius – but a chance of rain by the evening.

[00:01:33] PROGRAMME MENU GRAPHIC: some background music is added (can you identify the track?) and Peter goes through the programme line-up for tomorrow (Saturday):

[00:04:00] NATIONAL ANTHEM: closing visual of the Queen, accompanied by the National Anthem.

When we fade to black, Peter reminds us to switch off our TV set.

There’s a brief flash of chroma bars at [00:05:18].
