[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: a portion of the closing credits for Eustace and Hilda – made in 1977.

[00:00:40] IDENT: the BBC Two ident animates in silence. It was standard practice during this presentation era for the ident to precede a trail in this manner.

[00:00:48] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for a new series of Play of the Week. The trail starts with a special animated sequence for the autumn season, where a carving of the word ‘AUTUMN’ is revealed from behind a heap of leaves, which animate out of view.

  • Fearless Frank.
