Video content
[00:00:00] PROGRAMME MENU GRAPHIC: our recording starts as the announcer is wrapping up his run through of the programme line-up for Christmas Day evening on BBC One.
This is a live camera shot of some silver Christmas decor, with text overlaid. A similar format was used for cross-channel promotion captions.
[00:00:05] GRAPHIC: to promote BBC Radio 2.
A reminder that there’s a varied line-up of music and chat throughout the night on BBC Radio 2.
And the weathermen say that parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northern England and North Wales will have a frost tonight, leading to icy stretches on some roads – so anyone out on the roads tonight should take care.
[00:00:33] CLOCK: at almost one minute past one, it’s time to leave the night to Father Christmas, on his rounds, with his reindeer and sleigh.
[00:01:08] IDENT: the BBC One Christmas symbol is accompanied by the National Anthem.
