The final airing for the 1990 BBC One Christmas ident – and it didn’t go quite to plan.

[00:00:00] CLOCK: we only have the final portion of the announcer’s script over the clock, unfortunately.
[00:00:14] IDENT: we have the Christmas ident’s final airing – which should’ve been accompanied by the National Anthem. However, something seems to have gone wrong.
This ident had a soundtrack, and it was faded up briefly – presumably during an attempt to get the National Anthem on air.
