BBC Two’s programme schedule for Christmas Eve is coming to a close.

The programme airs on Wednesday at 11.30pm.

[00:02:03] CLOCK: with best wishes for Christmas, the BBC Two announcer wishes us a good night.

[00:02:22] STING: one of the Wallace and Gromit Christmas stings.

From [00:02:29] we have 15 seconds of black and silence. We then hear test tone kicking in. Our recording ends shortly after this. The tone would typically have run for about two minutes. The process for shutting down the transmitters would have been initiated shortly after that.
