Note: we believe our recording has missed off the opening seconds of this trail.

[00:00:50] PROGRAMME: a Network News bulletin, presented by Aengus MacGrianna.

This is one of Aengus’ early English-language bulletins. For the previous few years, he presented Nuacht bulletins exclusively.

The bulletin is presented from a small set in the Presentation department. This facility was not equipped with autocue, so the presenter had to read from a paper script.

[00:02:34] IDENT: the standard RTÉ Network 2 ident is used to link into Marlin Bay.
