Video content

[00:00:00] CLOCK: the start-up routine began with the channel clock. It would remain in place for around ten minutes, accompanied by music.

[00:09:29] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for the first weeks of the new look, a pre-recorded preview trail would be played, featuring generic snippets of programmes that would be shown in the evening. In this example for Saturday, the following programmes are trailed:

  • Ready, Willing and Able.
  • Lois and Clark.
  • Winning Streak.
  • Kenny Live.
  • The Monroes.

[00:10:35] PROGRAMME MENU GRAPHIC: a slide-based menu, listing out programmes for the morning and early afternoon.

And yes, there’s a spelling error at the end.

[00:11:16] IDENT: the debut of the new channel ident. Here used to link into the first programme of the day: Gardeners’ Dairy.
