[00:00:00] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Lennon Night.

Starts at 9pm on Saturday on Channel 4.

[00:01:01] IDENT: one of the standard daytime Channel 4 idents – Daytime C – is used to link into the lunchtime film, The Real Glory, starring Gary Cooper.

[00:01:15] PROGRAMME: the opening minute or so of the 1939 film, The Real Glory.

We see an example of the ‘SUBTITLES’ indicator, overlaid on the film’s opening sequence.
