[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: the final seconds of a Looney Toons cartoon – the iconic “That’s all folks!” sequence.
[00:00:07] IDENT: the slide-based UTV ident is used to mark the end of the cartoon.
[00:00:12] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Equinox.
The programme airs tomorrow at 7pm on Channel 4.
[00:00:43] IN-VISION CONTINUITY: announcer Tina Campbell tells viewers that the new series of Baywatch starts at 5.20pm today. Before that, Knight Rider.
[00:00:56] IDENT: the standard UTV ident is used to link into Knight Rider.
[00:01:06] PROGRAMME: initially we see a portion of the opening sequence from the first episode of season three – Knight of the Drones. We then cut to the opening titles.
In this episode, KITT is badly damaged, and receives his first significant interior facelift – a new dashboard.
The updated opening titles include the new dashboard, but haven’t quite been perfected yet: there are some audio/picture sync issues with sound effects; the sound that we’d become accustomed to for the accelerator pedal is not used here.
