[00:00:09] PROGRAMME: during the Christmas period of 1993, BBC Two showed a series of short unscheduled programmes, where various magicians performed tricks. As well as being shown at closedown, they were also shown (as here) between some programmes.
In this edition Fay Presto performs tricks for Paul Foot.

- Friday at 8.15pm: Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
And on Thursday at 9.30pm, Strange Fish.

The film airs tomorrow at 9pm on BBC Two.
[00:03:03] IDENT: a long version of the BBC Two Christmas ident is used to link into Angel Square.
There was a version of this ident where the BBC logo was absent until the ‘2’ arrived at its final destination (it’s believed the BBC logo was burnt on to the copy of the ident from this point).
