Includes a programme promotion for Live & Kicking at [00:00:15], featuring footballer Ryan Giggs.

[00:01:46] IDENT: the standard BBC One Northern Ireland symbol is used to link into BBC Inside Ulster.

During this era of Inside Ulster, the announcer’s link into the main weekday programme was always simply “This is BBC One Northern Ireland”.

[00:01:51] PROGRAMME: the opening voiceover for BBC Inside Ulster was provided by BBC Northern Ireland announcer, David Olver.

We see the opening headlines and titles, followed by part of the link for the lead story.

The presenters are Noel Thompson and Sean Rafferty.
