The 2.10am and 2.15am BBC Two junctions.

[00:00:00] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for The X-Files.

The show airs on Wednesday at 9.30pm on BBC One.

[00:00:10] IDENT: one of the standard BBC Two idents – Silk – is used to link into the late weather.

[00:00:19] PROGRAMME: John Kettley presents BBC Weatherview.

[00:03:20] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Cuba Night.

The night of programmes airs tomorrow from 8.05pm on BBC Two.

[00:04:01] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Gimme Gimme Gimme.

The show airs next Friday at 9pm on BBC Two.

[00:04:12] IDENT: one of the standard BBC Two idents – Optics – is used to close down BBC Two for the night.

This is followed by a little under 30 seconds of black and silence.

[00:05:02] TEST CARD: we had got used to Pages from Ceefax being shown overnight on BBC Two. But curiously, tonight, we have the test card, accompanied by test tone.

When the new BBC logo was introduced on 4th October, BBC One and BBC Two had their own branded versions of the test card. At some point, the test card was updated with generic ‘BBC’ branding.
