[00:01:37] PROGRAMME: we reach day 24 on the BBC Two Advent Calendar.
And behind door 24, a recording of Mahalia Jackson from 1964, singing Silent Night.
We then have a little over 40 seconds of black and silence, followed by the usual two minutes or so of tone. Seconds later, the video signal is cut, triggering the overnight shutdown of the national transmitter network.
