[00:00:00] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Trading Races.

The programme airs next Tuesday and Wednesday at 9pm on BBC Two.

[00:00:31] PROGRAMME MENU GRAPHIC: a misaligned menu appears instead of the expected ident and menu for The Learning Zone.

The pre-recorded piece from the announcer plays initially.

The faulty menu is faded on and off a number of times before giving way to a breakdown graphic.

A live announcer apologies for the technical issue.

[00:01:39] BREAKDOWN GRAPHIC: the standard breakdown slide finally appears. Music kicks in over 45 seconds later.

The live announcer apologises again.

[00:07:06] GRAPHIC: the music is abruptly faded out shortly before this graphic appears.

A slide featuring Learning Zone branding has text overlaid explaining that the planned programme for this slot has been rescheduled.

The announcer explains that the scheduled programme, Ever Wondered? will not be shown tonight and has been rescheduled for early morning on 3rd February, prior to the first scheduled Open University programme.

The live announcer explains this, before the music is faded up again.

[00:09:59] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Civil War.

The programme airs on Monday at 8.30pm on BBC Two.

[00:10:35] PROGRAMME: a short Open University filler programme, Mind Bites.

[00:15:10] CAMPAIGN PROMOTION: for Open University courses. In this case, Gerald Richards talks about his undergraduate experience studying the history of art.

[00:16:01] IDENT: one of the standard idents for The Learning Zone plays out announcerless.
