[00:00:00] PROGRAMME: the final minutes of the ITV Morning News, presented by Sharon Grey.

[00:02:25] PROGRAMME PROMOTION: for Mr Right.

The programme airs tonight at 9pm on ITV 1.

[00:02:45] IDENT: one of the recently introduced ITV 1 celebrity idents – this one featuring presenter Des Lynam – is used to link into the GMTV Newshour.

[00:02:55] PROGRAMME: the first thirty seconds or so of the GMTV Newshour, presented by Penny Smith and John Stapleton.

The picture glitches during the initial seconds are as broadcast live and were not uncommon immediately after the switch to GMTV at 6am.

The 6am – 9.25am slot was a separate Channel 3 franchise.
